Algorithm for Calculating Optimal Parameters Contributing to UAV Operation Efficiency

The study in this article is devoted to calculating the optimal flight range of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) at the optimal speed to reach a probable destination. This is due to the need for effective UAV route planning, which will optimize the parameters studied in this article. The use of theoretical research tools by combining computer modeling indicators based on the Mathcad platform and additional information data allowed for more efficient calculations. Operational parameters of UAVs and improved calculation of the optimal distance to the delivery point. Components used in aviation transport technologies, namely the optimal flight speed for determining the optimal distance, are currently not used accurately enough by UAV computing technology. In the educational and scientific laboratory “Modeling of transport systems and processes” of the National Aviation University, visualization of a priori and a posteriori probability distribution in the form of diagrams was carried out. The purpose of the concept of the probability of occurrence of events is an attempt to more accurately assess the factors of UAV operation when calculating the optimal flight speed for the optimal range. This theoretical case study on combined preferential-stochastic modeling is an attempt to more accurately calculate the parameters of UAV operation. The components of air transport technologies, in particular, the calculation of speed, UAV flight range, taking into account the waiting time of delivery, are considered in the subjective-objective formulation of the problem based on the joint use of the principle of maximum subjective entropy with the assessment of the probability density function.
