Technology of Rotor Systems Modelling of Industrial Machines

This paper describes the technology of rotor systems modelling as the main elements of industrial machines (machine tools, measuring machines, etc.). The approach is based on the principle of a close combination of computational and experimental methods of investigation of industrial machines (theoretical and experimental modal analysis) and the multimodel principle, which allows for the simultaneous use of several object models. It is assumed that models will be employed in a variety of contexts, including the temporal, modal, and frequency domains, for both theoretical and experimental research methodologies. Illustrative schematics are provided to illustrate the potential combinations of models at different stages of the system life cycle.
