Glance at Pecan Street Dataset and Its Application to Energy Disaggregation

In this paper, we provide a detailed examination of energy consumption within specific sections of the Pecan Street Data Set. We employ two primary method-ologies: the Additive Factorial Approximate MAP (AFAMAP) algorithm and the Exact MAP (EXACT) algorithm. Over the course of one year, we visualize energy consumption for the entire household as well as for individual appliances, revealing distinct patterns that could potentially inspire future advancements in energy disaggregation.
