Synthesis of Fuzzy Logic Control of a Buck DC-DC Converter

The manuscript presents a synthesis of control of Buck DC-DC converter, by using a fuzzy controller. The individual steps of the control synthesis are successively presented, as well as the implementation of the controller in Matlab/Simulink. After the control synthesis, the various possibilities of the fuzzy functions were examined and on this basis the most suitable ones for the purposes of the study were determined. In this way, a practice-oriented methodology for control synthesis is given, which is useful in view of both power electronics training and the needs of designing and prototyping power electronic devices.
