Regular Training of Metrologists for Electrical Measurements

The paper considers the relevance of conducting regular advanced training the competence of metrologists, in particular, in electrical measurements. The main elements of educational programs (EPs) regarding the assessment of conformity, testing, calibration and verification of measuring equipment of electromagnetic quantities are presented. The most qualified professors and experts of the State Enterprise “Ukrmetrteststandard” in the field of measuring technology were involved in the development of EPs. A complex of educational components aimed at achieving the learning outcomes provided by the EPs for the formation of new or improvement of existing competencies after advanced training has been defined. The introduction of EPs for improving the qualifications of metrology specialists is carried out in accordance with the development strategy of the SE “Ukrmetrteststandard”, taking into account the trends in the development of the specialty, the labor market, the industry and regional context. In this way, the training of professionals capable of working in all sectors of the economy contributes to the development of the National Metrology System, scientific progress and business competitiveness.
