Use of the Labview Program to Process Specific Signals for Piezoelectric Sensors

The piezoelectric sensor is used to measure flexibility, touch pressure level, vibration and shock. Simplifying greatly, the principle of operation consists in the production of electricity by some materials when an external force acts on them. By applying mechanical tension, a separation of the centers of gravity of the negative and positive electric charges is produced, which gives rise to an electric dipole, characterized by an electric dipole moment. The sensor is connected to analog input 7 (AI 7) of the acquisition board. In this mode the resulting voltage at the sensor output is applied to the analog input of the NI USB-6210 acquisition board. Analog input will be configured in RSE mode (in which the signal is measured between analog input AI and analog ground AI GND).
