Game Theory Based Design of Flexibility Resource Utilization Mechanism for Integrated Electricity and Heat Systems

This paper studies the cooperative game model of real-time flexibility resources in an integrated electric-thermal energy system. By shifting thermal loads, this model enables greater absorption of wind power, thereby improving the utilization efficiency of renewable energy. The cooperative game enhances the surplus of both the power grid and the thermal network through transfer payments, achieving a win-win situation. To further increase the willingness of the thermal network for flexible regulation, the paper proposes a method of compensating for long-term power changes, ensuring fair and reasonable distribution of benefits. Additionally, to ensure the safe operation of the thermal network, longer time-window safety constraints are introduced in the dispatch strategy, ensuring that the system remains safe and reliable during dynamic adjustments. The results of this study show that the proposed cooperative game mechanism significantly improves the real-time utilization efficiency of flexibility in the electric-thermal coupled system, increases system operation benefits, and ensures safe operation of the system.
