Optimizing Renewable Energy Heating: An Integration of TRNSYS Simulation of Solar and Ground Heat Exchange Systems

To address global energy shortages and carbon emissions, exploring efficient and sustainable heating solutions has become a major research focus. This study evaluates a direct heating system that couples solar collectors with medium-depth ground heat exchangers (MDGHE) using TRNSYS simulation software to achieve 100^% renewable energy heating. By integrating solar collectors, the system's heating capacity is significantly enhanced, effectively compensating for the limitations of medium-deep geothermal energy alone. The study demonstrates that a hybrid heating system combining solar collectors and MDGHE not only meets heating demands but also substantially reduces reliance on traditional auxiliary heating, achieving the goal of fully renewable energy-based heating.
