Risk Assessment and Coping Strategy of Power Distribution Network Considering the Uncertainty of Source and Load

With a large number of distributed generator (DG) connected to the distribution network, the uncertainty of source and load increases the risk of safe operation of the distribution network. Therefore, a risk response strategy for distribution network is proposed. Firstly, the probability distribution model of source and load is established, and the three-point estimation method is used to calculate the probability density function of node voltage and line power. Secondly, the comprehensive risk index of node voltage over-limit and the comprehensive risk index of line power overload are established, and the risk value is calculated. Then, the voltage over-limit risk of the node is reduced by adjusting the active power resources and the military power resources. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed risk response strategy is verified by the CPS62 node example.
