Enhanced Efficiency in Water Filtration Systems Through Bond Graph Modeling

This paper presents the application of bond graph methodology for modeling water filtration systems. Water filtration systems are crucial for providing clean drinking water and often integrate components from various engineering disciplines. The bond graph approach offers a unified graphical language for energy conversion to represent these multidisciplinary interactions, facilitating system modeling, design and analysis. The technique used has given higher efficiency in terms of amount of water filtered on industrial case study. It is reliable to monitor, control, and optimize water treatment processes using bond graph modeling technique.
