Performance Optimization of MA0.9Cs0.1Pb(I0.6Br0.4)3 Based Perovskite Solar Cells Through Numerical Simulations

In this work, a thorough investigation of methyl ammonium and cesium - based mixed halide perovskite solar cells is performed. Numerical simulations are done on SCAPS-1D simulator to examine the effect of material properties of charge transport layers and perovskite. Further, an optimum interfacial defect concentration of charge transport layers and absorber is examined to quantify the effect of interfacial recombination. Also, the series and shunt resistances are varied for a certain range and performance parameters are determined. The optimum device results in $V_{O C}=1.464 \mathrm{V}, \text{JSC}=22.60 \text{mA} / \text{cm}^2, \text{FF}=86.57$, and $\eta{=}$ 28.67%.
