KOA Management in CDS using AI: A Review

Joint degradation is a symptom of osteoarthritis in the knee. In the entire world, it is the most common disease. KOA primarily affects elderly individuals even though life is tough at the KOA. Significant progress in artificial intelligence (AI) has been made in recent years; deep learning for picture categorization, lesion recognition, cartilage division, and future KOA development prediction models are among the most notable examples. In this study AI is used in detection and management of knee osteoarthritis based on various x-ray images. Now-a-days AI shows a great potential in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. It's prerequisite to remember that these applications are still in their early days and need to be proved through real-life applications and clinical studies. The utility and accuracy of CDS for KOA will probably be improved by AI technologies. AI-powered CDS for osteoarthritis (OA) in the knee offers a lot of promise to help patients as well as physicians. In order to ensure the virtuous and proportionately deployment of AI in KOA treatment, it is imperative that this investigation address challenges with data integrity, ethics, privacy, and legal compliance. There is great opportunity for future research on knee OA in CDS to improve patient outcomes and our understanding of this chronic condition, as well as to increase the efficiency of healthcare delivery.
