Empirical Study on the Effect of Green Building and Risk Management on Economic Quality and Sustainability in the Indonesian Sustainable Architecture Index

Indonesian Sustainability Architecture Index (ISAI) is an index used to measure the sustainability of buildings in Indonesia. ISAI in this study focuses on exploring the role of Green Building (GB) and Risk Management (RM) mediated by Economic Quality (EQ) on Sustainability (St) in the context of ISAI. This study uses a quantitative method with the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach implemented using SmartPLS software with a sample of 298 respondents. The results of the analysis show that GB significantly and positively affects St, but does not have a significant impact on EQ. On the contrary, RM has a significant and positive effect on both factors. In addition, it was found that EQ makes a major contribution to St. These results emphasize the importance of a comprehensive approach in designing and managing sustainable architectural projects, especially in supporting the development of smart cities in Indonesia.
