Degradation trend identification and analysis of class-F winding using experimental and fuzzy inference system

An accelerated degradation of a three-phase permanent magnet synchronous servo motor having class-F distributed stator winding in a laminated steel stack is performed to identify the degradation trend of stator. Accelerated thermal ageing of stator winding is conducted at 175C, 195C and 215C. Fuzzy inference system (FIS) is further deployed to analyze the degradation of class-F winding. The validation of FIS with respect to experimental technique i.e. accelerated life testing (ALT), is done using Weibull distribution. Further, Bonferroni with 95% confidence level confirms the equality of both statistical and artificial intelligent technique.
