Approaches that Contribute to a New Definition of the “Smart Campus” based on Smart Systems

There is a lack of consensus on what constitutes “smart campus,” which has led to varying definitions among individuals and organizations. Interestingly, even researchers. To address this issue, this paper aims to examine various viewpoints from multiple researchers to establish a clear definition of a smart campus. The proposed definition of a smart campus will be built on a smart system. Once a definition has been agreed upon, a smart campus model can be constructed around it.
