Simulation of Dual-Band Generation in a Mode-Locked Erbium-Doped Fiber Laser Based on Monolayer Graphene

We simulate Dual-band in an Erbium-doped fiber laser cavity composed of graphene as a saturable absorber. The simulation shows a high dependence on the pulse's central wavelength generated with Erbium's peak gain. We compare the simulation results for pulse generated at 1530 nm, 1550 nm, and dual-band at these wavelengths with the experimental implemen-tation of the cavity. We found that the relative percentage error for the spectral width was 22.7 %, 11.3 % at 1530 and 1550 nm, respectively. For dual 2 % and 15 % at 1530 nm and 1550 nm.
