Mathematical Model of Switched Reluctance Motor for Braking Force Elimination

Switched reluctance motors are perspective motor type that has high reliability and low cots bust suffer from low specific torque. Improving its characteristics is possible based on deep analysis of processes based on motor mathematical model. Due to motor complexity the analytical model may be obtained for separate cases with set of simplification. In the paper derived model of motor winding current that used for eliminating braking force. The derived model are tested on typical motor characteristics and validated in Matlab Simulink.
