Adaptive Proportional-Resonant Current Control applied to Grid-Connected Converters using L Filter

This paper proposes an adaptive proportional-resonant control strategy for three-phase inverters connected to the electrical grid using an L filter. The control strategy aims to enhance harmonic compensation and improve the quality of current injected into the grid by utilizing a damped resonant controller with adaptive controller based on model reference. The adaptive control adapts to the fundamental frequency, while the proportional resonant control attenuates up to the 11th harmonic. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy, demonstrating its capability to dynamically adjust control parameters and maintain system stability under varying conditions.
