Research on Preferences for Fracture Image Labeling Forms and the Layout of Medical Augmented Reality Interfaces

With the promotion and development of intelligent healthcare, this study explores the initial construction of 2D and 3D fracture labeling based on image recognition technology and its application in augmented reality (AR) interfaces. Taking distal radius fractures as an example, advanced image recognition algorithms are introduced to accurately label fracture locations, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of medical image analysis. Qualitative research on labeling forms and methods for 2D and 3D medical images was conducted, and based on survey results, arrows and bounding boxes were selected for experimental evaluation. The results indicate that these labeling forms provide more intuitive and precise information about fracture positions and shapes, reducing the difficulty of recognizing fracture information. Subsequently, a preliminary study on AR interface layout was conducted using density map research methods, improving the operational experience of orthopedic surgeons during distal radius fracture reduction. This study provides a theoretical basis for the optimization design of medical image labeling and the layout of medical AR interfaces, showcasing its broad prospects in clinical applications.
