Design of a Simple Aircraft Electronic Circuit Breaker Control Logic

The paper describes the gradual transformation of protection devices of aircraft power distribution system from electromechanical and electromagnetic to electronic ones and presents the integration possibility of protective and switching elements of the aircraft electrical network. Moreover, the paper describes the characteristics of individual protection devices and the way they can be utilized in different architectures of aircraft power distribution systems. In addition, the authors propose a simulation model of a simple aircraft electronic circuit breaker control logic and demonstrate its operation characteristics.
