Understanding the Role of Machine Learning in Optimizing Manufacturing Processes and Quality Control

The use of machine learning methods is becoming more important in the dynamic environment of manufacturing as companies seek to improve their processes and tighten their quality controls. The purpose of this research is to shed light on the complex function of machine learning in manufacturing and the effect it has on productivity and quality in the sector. The manufacturing industry is characterized by a complex network of operations, and the push to improve efficiency is ongoing. Machine learning has replaced conventional approaches because of its superior capacity to evaluate large datasets and provide useful insights. Algorithms and predictive analytics power this paradigm shift, giving manufacturers a new way to analyze and improve their processes. To minimize production delays, decrease downtime, and guarantee product quality, it is crucial to use previous data for predictive maintenance. Statistical Process Control (SPC), Six Sigma, Total Quality Management (TQM), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Lean Manufacturing, and Taguchi Methods are only a few of the real-world techniques that are investigated in this research. These well-established methods are contextualized, showing how machine learning may be used to complement traditional approaches. The findings strongly suggest that the suggested machine learning approach is better than more conventional approaches. The suggested method shows promise in its ability to revolutionize industrial processes, since it performs very well in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.
