Abstract:

In the era of technological advancement, healthcare services provide only an improvement to the patient experience and availability. This research demonstrates "InstaCare" an application for getting a non-emergency appointment with a physician with the help of the doctors’ location heatmap. InstaCare creates patient satisfaction from the physician since it removes long hours of waiting time, borders on appointment setting, and doctor’s availability, and also generates low traffic congestion at clinics. The target audience then gains access to an extensive list of qualified medical practitioners via UAE Pass to log in. The main convenience function is the ability to determine the nearest emergency hospital according to ratings and coordinates and make an emergency call (911). For the elective services, InstaCare employs a visually pleasing heatmap to portray area physicians and facilitate the appropriate decision relying on the wait time, ratings, and reviews. It helps clients to locate nearby doctors with the shortest waiting time for quick assistance. Patient feedback can be received in the form of comments and/or ratings to improve the involvement of the physicians. It uses push notifications to notify the users of the waiting time, new professionals added, or next appointment to help in proper health choices and enhance scheduling and patient relations.
