Descriptor: Pixel Sampling to Generate Database of Radiation Pattern Images of Antenna (PSGDRPIA)

The article discusses the preparation of radiation pattern database using pixel sampling technique to predict the type of antenna from radiation pattern. Radiation pattern images of three antennas, namely: 1) patch; 2) monopole; and 3) dipole antennas, are collected by taking photographs from the existing literature and simulations using Ansys HFSS. A large database of these images is prepared using pixel sampling. Various combinations of symmetric, asymmetric, triangle, and square shapes with window sizes between $2\times 2$ and $100\times 100$ are generated. Dataset is also prepared with the addition of noise of various types such as Gaussian noise, speckle noise, pink noise, white noise, and salt and pepper noise.
