A Study of Operational Amplifiers in Low Power Nodes in Wireless Communication

Operational amplifiers (Op-Amps) are critical components in analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, where low power consumption and high performance are essential. With the continuous scaling of semiconductor technology, FinFET devices have emerged as promising candidates for achieving high-performance and low-power operation. This review paper provides an overview of recent advancements in the design and implementation of low-power operational amplifiers based on 18nm FinFET technology. It covers the key design considerations, challenges, and prospects of FinFET-based Op-Amps for low-power applications.
