Two loop controlled Cuk - Buck Converter for input source power management

A new method for power management that regulates input source power using a two-loop controlled Cuk buck converter. Adding an outside voltage loop and an inner current loop enhances the topology of a typical Cuk buck converter. The outer voltage loop maintains the appropriate output voltage level, while the inner current loop controls the converter's output current. The converter performs better with this dual-loop control method in terms of efficiency, transient response, and stability under a variety of input source situations. The outcomes of the simulation show how well the suggested strategy works to control input source power while preserving steady output voltage regulation. System’s discrete time model is used to control source current and load power to obtain the best possible load allocation to input for each feasible combination of input and output variables. The suggested study addresses the use of RGA theory to improve comprehension of control loop dynamics and the selection of input and output for power management.
