Real-Time Health Monitoring and Telemetry Integration for CubeSat’s Onboard Computer

This paper delves into the development and implementation of a Health Monitoring and Telemetry Subsystem (HMTS) specifically designed for CubeSat’s Onboard Computer (OBC). Through extensive academic research, the study emphasizes the importance of proactively tackling power failure scenarios by implementing a data- driven approach. This involves implementing real-time health monitoring, fault detection, and logging to ensure a robust system. The study highlights the practicality of using the Arduino Uno simulator to validate code and discusses potential future endeavours related to cross-compilation on the Raspberry Pi OBC. Thorough research conducted in the academic field has shown that implementing a proactive maintenance strategy significantly improves the durability and performance of CubeSat missions.
