Design of LCC-S-Compensated Wireless Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor System for Electric Vehicle Applications

In electric vehicle applications, cable components used in traditional motor drive power supply solutions are susceptible to damage and reliability issues due to continuous vibration or bending. To address these challenges, a wireless power transmission-based permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive system is proposed in this paper. It utilizes an innovative LCC-S compensation network for a steady DC-link voltage output, aiming to eliminate wired connections and enhance the flexibility and reliability of the motor drive system. Both simulation analysis and experimental results are analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the proposed system, showing a wireless transmission efficiency of 65%.
