SEPIC DC/DC Converter Complete Average Model for DCM Operation

An average model of the SEPIC converter operating in DCM was developed and verified against cycle-by-cycle simulation. The proposed model was implemented in the LTSpice simulator and can be used to run DC, AC and TRAN analyses. The model is developed based on the averaged, large signal behavior while the AC response is computed automatically by the simulator. Additionally, the small signal analysis of the SEPIC converter was completed by computing the mathematical expression of the second pole DCM SEPIC converter transfer function.
