Optimizing of IT-Tools and Production Proccesses for Supporting the Participation of Workers with Disabilities in the Industry

This research explores the integration of individuals with disabilities, chronic illnesses, and the elderly into industrial work environments, in line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal on “Decent Work and Economic Growth”. Focusing on the implementation of Universal Design (UD) principles, the study addresses the technical and organizational prerequisites required in industrial settings to facilitate sustainable workforce participation by these groups. The results will be optimized production processes and IT tools to enable a participation of addressed group in the industrial production process.
