Battery Health Monitoring System on Photovoltaic-Based Aerators in Vannamei Shrimp Pond

Various sensors ensure accurate health and battery load monitoring, accessible in real-time through an online interface. PZEM017 sensors are responsible for measuring voltage and current, while a DS18B20 sensor monitors the temperature. These sensors have undergone testing, revealing impressive accuracy levels: the voltage sensor with 99.58% accuracy and 0.42% error, the current sensor with 97.27% accuracy and 2.35% error, and the temperature sensor with 98.79% accuracy and 1.21 % error. ESP32 handles data processing and transmission to a central database via the Internet. The data is also logged onto a spreadsheet, displaying key metrics like voltage, current, temperature, battery health, and remaining power. Based on a week-long test, the average battery performance was calculated to be SoC 91.25%, DoD 8.75%, with a two-hour and six-minute autonomy, and a battery power of 538.97 Watts. The comprehensive monitoring system enables shrimp pond farmers to proactively maintain battery health, optimize energy usage, and ensure efficient aerator operation, resulting in significant benefits for their aquaculture practices.
