Design of Rolling Measurement Electronic Ruler Based on STM32

At present, the common methods for measuring the surface length of curved objects mainly include the method of straightening and the method of rolling wheel, which have their own defects. To solve the above problems, a rolling measuring electronic ruler based on STM32 is designed, which measures the length value by rolling on the surface of the object based on the roller method. To solve the problem of manual reading, the photoelectric encoder is used in this design, and the rolling of the roller is measured with high precision with the gear group, and the measurement results are displayed in digital form on the display screen. To solve the problem that the surface of curved object is not easy to measure, the sensor is used to provide tilt reminder function for measurement. It provides a high precision and convenient measuring tool for measuring the surface length of curved objects.
