Establishment of Deep-Sea Slope Detection Model and Model Solution Based on Greedy Algorithm

This paper presents the establishment of a model for deep-sea slope surface detection and its solution based on the greedy algorithm. The study begins by establishing a two-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system based on the underwater slope conditions. Utilizing geometric relationships, models for coverage width and overlap between adjacent strips are developed. The final results are obtained when the opening angle of the multibeam transducer is 120°, the slope is 1.5°, and the water depth at the centre of the sea area is 70m. Subsequently, on the basis of the established models, a spatial Cartesian coordinate system is established. Models for the water depth at measurement points and the angle between the multibeam depth measurement coverage line and the horizontal plane are developed. By utilizing geometric relationships, the normal vectors of the required planes are determined, and the necessary angles are calculated to construct a model for the multibeam coverage width at measurement points. The final results are obtained when the opening angle of the multibeam transducer is 120°, the slope is 1.5°, and the water depth at the centre of the sea area is 120m.
