Analysis of the Current Situation of Power Cable Faults and Countermeasures

Power cable is an important part of the power system, the normal operation of the power cable is the whole power system to ensure stable operation. But power cables in long-term operation will inevitably appear some faults, the staff need to timely and accurate diagnosis and troubleshooting, in order to minimize the adverse effects caused by power cable failure. This paper investigates and analyzes the current status of power cable failures, and proposes effective countermeasures to reduce the power cable failure rate, to ensure that power cables can operate safely for a long time, and to improve the reliability of power supply to the grid.
