Design of an Automatic Weeding Robot System for Mulberry Garden

To address the issue of inefficient weed removal during mulberry cultivation, an automatic weeding robot system for mulberry orchards has been developed. The system incorporates radar navigation, a weeding mechanism, visual recognition, and image processing technologies, utilizing laser radar and camera sensors for multi-source data fusion. This integration enables precise navigation, weed identification, and a combined physical and chemical weeding process, ensuring automated, efficient, and accurate weeding in mulberry orchards. The design of the weeding robot system was developed using SolidWorks software to create a 3D model of the overall structure and comprehensive module design. It also addresses the limitations of existing weeding robots, proposes a hybrid model combining physical and chemical weeding, and explores the use of multi-source data fusion for navigation in mulberry orchards.
