Analysis of Power System Power Regulation Based on Differential Equations and Computer Simulation

This paper investigates the impact of temperature-controlled loads on power system reliability in modern power systems. Through mathematical modeling and analysis, the ability to participate in grid regulation is explored for electric heating and heating households in a residential district. Based on the modeling of differential equations of room temperature variation and data analysis using MATLAB, the impact of electric heating equipment on power regulation under different outdoor temperature conditions was investigated. The regulation potential and characteristics of electric heating loads are revealed by steady state model solution and power regulation capability assessment. The results show that the aggregation of multiple electric heating loads has a large total capacity and long regulation time, but there are challenges in the quality and accuracy of regulation, which need to be evaluated for representative loads.
