High Efficiency and Optically Transparent 2D-MoS2 Heaters for Silicon Photonics

We experimentally demonstrate the first 1L-MoS2 microheater integrated with a silicon MRR, showing the best-reported power efficiency of ~7.5 mW/n with no significant penalty on insertion loss when placed close to the resonator (~30 nm).
