IoT - Driven Allergy Management & Modelling

This work delves into the transformative potential of the Internet of Things (IoT) in reshaping healthcare services, environmental monitoring, and home automation processes. The emphasis is on tackling prevalent allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis and asthma in India. Recognizing the significant health implications of snoring during sleep and its potential to mitigate a multitude of health issues, this study aspires to address this concern as well. By harnessing IoT technologies, the aim is to redefine human interactions with living spaces, health metrics, and the environment, offering a seamless fusion of convenience, well-being, and sustainability. The application seeks to distinguish itself by providing an innovative solution that aims to enhance respiratory health, enhance indoor air quality, and alleviate the impact of allergens on allergy-prone individuals by bridging existing research gaps. The proposed system utilizes sensors to detect indoor contaminants, activating a humidifier to adjust room humidity when allergen levels exceed a preset threshold, while also intelligently coordinating with room temperature to avoid interference with the air conditioner.
