Luminous Properties of All-in-One Packaged Mini-LED Devices for Transparent Displays

The luminous characteristics of Mini-LEDs packaged in all-in-one devices, containing red, green, and blue Mini-LEDs and a Micro-IC, have been investigated under different temperatures, current amplitudes, and duty cycles. The transparent displays employ the all-in-one mini-LED devices as the pixels have been demonstrated. The color gamut, ambient contrast ratio, and the luminous characteristics of the transparent displays have also been investigated. The impacts of current amplitude and grayscale on the shift of chromaticity coordinates have been determined. The influences of current amplitude on the shift of chromaticity coordinates are more significant than the influences from grayscale. The ambient contrast ratio of the transparent displays decreases as the viewing angle increases.
