Research on Full-Function Test Technology of Distributed Static Synchronous Series Compensator Converter Valves

Distributed static synchronous series compensator (DSSSC) is distributed equipment installed on the power transmission line that can control the power flow and improve the transmission capacity and stability of the power transmission line. Therefore, the accuracy and effectiveness of DSSSC converter valve's functional tests are of great significance for its reliable and stable operation in transmission lines. However, there is a lack of research on relevant test device and method. Aiming at this problem, a test device for DSSSC converter valve is proposed. The main circuit topology and related parameters of the test platform are described. According to the operation characteristics of DSSSC, the critical functional test items and test results are presented. The research results show that the test device can complete various tests of DSSSC converter valve and effectively verify its operational performance, thus providing the foundation for the engineering application of the device.
