Combined HVDC Circuit Breaker and Parameters Design of Breaking Test Circuit

This paper introduces the working principle of a new type of combined HVDC circuit breaker, and establishes a simulation model by using PSCAD/EMTDC to solve its breaking stress under bad working conditions, analyzes the stress characteristics and influencing factors during the breaking and commutation process of the circuit breaker, and designs a short-circuit current test circuit and verifies its feasibility.
