Optimization of a VIRC Stirring Process using Frequency and Time Domain Metrics

The stirring process optimization is a complex process which requires to deal with a large number of parameters. This communication presents first an overview of relevant frequency and time-domain metrics recently proposed. These metrics are then applied to a “fully-stirred” VIRC (i.e. suspended from the ground) now equipped with a set of 5 motors pushing the canvas randomly. The presented results clearly show that the stirring process is of better quality when the number of motor grows.
