Rover-for Small Scale Plastic Collecting Applications

Due to the use of plastic, every state and region in India is currently experiencing the worst possible circumstances. Plastic is tossed on the edges of the dustbin and on every portion of the road. Our proposal to create a “plastic identification and collecting rover” is to remove the non-biodegradable plastic that has accumulated on the ground. These days, robotic arms are becoming the most often used component for both home and industrial applications. They are commercially available because of their exceptional accuracy, repeatability, and potential to reduce human labour. This automatic arm is a model for a project that will mostly be utilised at home. It assists in picking up plastic objects by using proximity sensors to detect the object being picked and by using a mobile app to control both the rover and the robotic arm to place the object in a bin. Plastics are an essential part of contemporary living, yet they pose environmental risks as well. Such recyclable plastic is labour-intensive to manually gather and filter from a mixture of other waste, and doing so poses health risks. The initial prototype focusses on identifying and grasping a certain kind of plastic container that is frequently used to package drinking water.
