Abstract:
The integration of blockchain technology into e-commerce holds transformative potential by leveraging decentralization, transparency, and security to redefine online transactions. This research explores a decentralized online marketplace that integrates blockchain with e- commerce functionalities, utilizing smart contracts and wallet integration to decentralize product listing, inventory management, and identity verification. The envisioned marketplace aims to meet the sustainable development through promoting responsible consumption, ethical sourcing, and environmentally friendly practices. By enhancing transactional security and transparency, blockchain facilitates a more efficient, equitable, and sustainable ecosystem for online commerce. Using this method one can achieve transparency and enhanced security. This study contributes to conceptualizing and implementing a framework where blockchain technology supports not only transactional efficiency but also ethical and sustainable business practices in e- commerce. Compared to traditional blockchain e- commerce there is a significant increase in the parametric observations such as security, transparency and efficiency
