Development and Initial Results of 3D Printed Models Using In-House Designed Device and Software

Three-dimensional printing is vital in medicine, particularly with the rise of fused filament fabrication (FFF) technology due to affordable and customizable 3D printers. This work aims to develop exclusive software for controlling an FFF 3D printer, enabling printing directly from image files. Using a Creality Ender-3 V3 SE and C#, the software reads imaging formats to generate G-code files. Successful tests printed seven objects from png or tiff files with $100 \%$ infill density. This method will be applied to create phantoms for X-ray imaging research.
