Using WOKWI Simulator to Support Engineering Student Learning in Microcontrollers and Sensors

The authors present the use of the Wokwi online environment for the creation of digital content in the disciplines “Microprocessor Technology” and “Microcontroller Programming”, included in the curricula of engineering specialties in higher schools. Simulation models of implemented various microcontroller systems are proposed, including a wide variety of sensors and actuators, LCD displays, communication modules, etc. Simulation models allow the examination, adjustment and diagnostics of hardware, processor software and peripherals. The simulation models implemented in WOKWI provide an opportunity for successful subsequent software and hardware implementation.
