3D speckle patterns for single-pixel camera photoluminescence tomography

We present a method for generating 3D speckle patterns, which are applicable in single-pixel camera photoluminescence tomography. Initially, we demonstrate our ability to produce a series of independent speckle patterns at various planes close to the focal plane, thereby enabling imaging with z-axis resolution. Through the use of simulated data, we examine the impact of various parameters, including lens tilt and the position of the input beam, on the formation of speckle patterns. Drawing on these insights, we have constructed an experimental setup that successfully generates 3D speckle patterns in practice. Our findings reveal that by accurately fitting the phase distribution of the input field, we can replicate the generated 3D patterns with a high degree of correlation.
