Research on the Influence of Biased Structure in Hybrid Inertial Navigation System Based on Rate Biased Ring Laser Gyroscope

The organic combination of laser gyroscope rate biased technology and hybrid inertial navigation system is a new breakthrough in inertial navigation system technology, which will improve the accuracy of inertial navigation. The design of rate biased structure scheme is one of the key technologies. The design principle of the biased structure is mainly to provide the laser gyroscope with as much angular velocity as possible through the minimum number of rotation axes, while also considering the impact on the error characteristics of the inertial navigation system. However, there is a lack of systematic and comprehensive analysis on the rate biased structure, In response to the design and selection issues of biased structure schemes in hybrid inertial navigation systems with rate biased ring laser gyroscopes, the key errors such as random walk, zero bias stability, and scale coefficient error of laser gyroscopes under horizontal gyroscope oblique biased structure and symmetrical assembly biased structure, as well as the impact of two typical biased structures on rotational modulation effect, system alignment, and navigation accuracy are analyzed. A theoretical basis for the design and selection of biased structure schemes in hybrid inertial navigation systems with rate biased ring laser gyroscopes is provided.
