Sensor System for Determining the Angular Position of a Large Objects in Difficult Conditions

As part of this work, a sensor system has been developed that is used to determine the angular value of a large object in difficult conditions. An airplane is used as a large-sized object in the process of carrying out work on writing magnetic deviation. The main features of the process of carrying out deviation works, as well as the features of the deviation clocks used, are analyzed. The main limitations corresponding to the use of existing ready-made solutions for measuring the angle of rotation of an aircraft have been identified. An integrated approach to the construction of a sensor system is proposed, combining the use of sensors based on various physical principles. To roughly determine the direction, the use of RFID methods is proposed, applied on the surface of the deviation clock. To accurately determine the angle of rotation, it is proposed to use a technical vision system that recognizes rhumb marks applied to the surface of the deviation clock. The structure of the sensor system has been developed. The basic requirements for its implementation are described. An algorithm has been developed for processing information from various sensors that are part of the sensor system.
