DrivePal: An In-Depth Exploration of Cutting-Edge Driving Companion

Every day, our roadways witness a tragic loss of life stemming from various factors, including vehicular collisions, pedestrian accidents, and incidents involving roadside structures like signs and billboards. The “DrivePal” system provides drivers with comprehensive tools and resources conveniently accessible through a user-friendly web interface. By amalgamating a range of features and prompts, DrivePal aspires to instill safe and responsible driving practices, aiming to reduce the toll of traffic- related fatalities and injuries. This research addresses two key inquiries: a) To what extent does the DrivePal system promote safety features and encourage convenient driving habits among its users? b) How does the DrivePal system influence the behavior of individuals behind the wheel and enhance their overall driving experience by integrating features such as real-time navigation, monitoring, and vehicle diagnostics? In this exhaustive examination, we explored DrivePal, a cutting-edge web application designed to serve as a driving companion, relying solely on user feedback obtained through the System Usability Scale (SUS). As reflected in the SUS score, the results yielded invaluable insights into the application's perceived user- friendliness. The findings affirm high user satisfaction and resoundingly endorse DrivePal as a practical driving companion. The elevated SUS score attests to the application's excellence in user-friendliness and efficiency, qualities of utmost importance for a technology that enhances the driving experience.
