Sliding Mode Controller-Based Grid-Tied Solar PV System Using a Novel MPPT Technique

This study focuses on grid-tied solar PV systems with sliding mode controllers. Solar energy is one of the most cost-effective non-conventional energy sources for meeting the world’s expanding power needs because of its lower initial investment and continuous running expenses. Because it employs a significant section of our workforce, agriculture is one of the most important economic sectors. Due to advantages including fuel-free operation, cheaper operating costs, and environmental friendliness, PV solar-powered grid-tied systems have recently become more popular than conventional diesel engine-based pumped systems. This application is more helpful in remote areas without grid connectivity.
